Alexz and Jake met at a wine bar in Brooklyn in Autumn of 2023. Though it started off casual, they loved being around each other and knew it was serious when Jake gifted Alexz her first Dutch oven for Christmas. A few weeks later, Jake finally asked Alexz to be his girlfriend during a Harry Potter movie marathon.

Both Jake and Alexz did not considered themselves the "marriage type" but everything just made sense once they finally had met the right person. They've traveled all over, cooked insanely, delicious meals, and have built a cozy, little home together in Brooklyn. Every day, they look forward to waking up and coming home to each other and are excited for the life they will continue to build as husband and wife.
